People make a decision to purchase something based on what they see and the feeling they get when they see it. My experience with product photography has included full time positions at “Monoprice” - an American online retailer selling consumer and name brand consumer electronics and outdoor equipment - and at “Theragun”, now “Therabody” - an online retailer selling percussive therapy devices. At Monoprice, I shot hundreds of products, at 5+ angles and used high-end retouching before publishing photos to the website. My skill set in product photography includes the setup, lighting, capture, organization, and editing of the product photos. Specialized retouching capabilities include removing/adding reflections, color matching, duplication (creating multiple of product but in different colors), creating perfect symmetry and lines, and making an otherwise damaged product appear brand new.
